About the project
Bröd&Salt is a rapidly growing craft bakery in Stockholm, now with premises on almost every corner. Our collaboration began in the fall of 2022 with high goals to bring in more customers and sales, both to their local cafes but also digitally to their various subscription services.
The challenge
Bröd&Salt aimed to rank at the top of Google for search terms such as "Coffee subscription Stockholm” but faced challenges due to its slow website, which made it difficult to retain visitors. This problem, in turn, further damaged their search engine optimization efforts.
Results
By compressing the code and removing unnecessary elements from the site, we managed to optimize the entire site and achieve a Lighthouse ranking that improved from 38 to 97/100 in performance. The website became significantly faster, which quickly resulted in more time spent on the website for each visitor. We also created a new landing page optimized specifically for "Kaffeprenumeration Stockholm" and through a combination of on-page and off-page SEO work managed to rank this page and several others to number 1 on Google. Overall, website traffic increased by 59.6 %, revenue by 174 %, conversion rate by 64 %, and number of sessions by 58 %. We are of course at least as happy as Bröd & Salt for this development and look forward to working further towards even better results!
